Accepted Proof of Address Documents
An invalid proof of address is the most common reason KYB verification gets delayed. Before you upload, make sure your document meets both of these requirements:
It shows the full legal name of the business, Director, or UBO it's being submitted for
It was issued within the last 3 months
Documents that are older than 3 months or show a name that doesn't match your records will be rejected.
What we accept
Utilities: Electricity (PHCN / DisCo), water, or gas bills.
Banking: Corporate bank statements, account opening confirmation letters, or bank reference letters.
Government & Tax: Tax clearance certificates (FIRS or State IRS), or business premises registration certificates.
Property & Rent: Signed tenancy or lease agreements, rent agreements, rent payment receipts (with lease support), or Deeds of Assignment.
Insurance & Logistics: Office insurance certificates, postal address verification letters, or serviced office and coworking space agreements. Note: these must include a utility bill or address confirmation letter from the provider.
