How to Issue a Card

How to issue a card:

  1. Go to Cards in the sidebar and click Customer Cards, then click Create card.

  2. Select your card type: Standard for a reloadable card or Single-use for a one-time card.

  3. Optionally toggle on Contactless payment to enable tap-to-pay via Apple Pay and Google Pay on Standard cards.

  4. Choose a card skin from the available designs. 

  5. Select the wallet to fund the card from under Account source.

  6. Enter a funding amount or pick a preset. The minimum is $3 and the maximum is $2,500.

  7. Optionally open Advanced card controls to set a spending limit or custom expiration date.

  8. Click Continue. You will be taken to the Customer details screen.

  9. Fill in the customer details. The fields required depend on the card type you selected.

  10. For Standard cards: fill in first name, last name, email address, phone number, date of birth, address (street address, country, state, city, and postal code, with supported countries being Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, Rwanda, South Africa, Tanzania, and Uganda), and identity information (ID type and ID number).

  11. For Single-use cards: only first name, last name, email address, and phone number are required. Click Create card to complete.

  12. Create Card button. You will be prompted to verify your identity with 2FA before the card is created.

  13. Once confirmed, you will see a Card creation in progress screen. The card will be ready shortly. You can then view the card details or create another card.
